About Landau Rose Rhythm & Roots
Landau Rose Rhythm & Roots LTD is owned by Zuleika Rose and Taylor McLean.
We are a young family living in Chilliwack, BC, building a business that reflects who we are: creative, community-minded, practical, family-centered, and deeply connected to food, music, land, and culture.
Our vision is to create work that allows us to spend meaningful time with our children, contribute to local food systems, share Puerto Rican and Caribbean food traditions, and build community through farming, music, and education.
The long-term vision is for Landau Music and Borinken Farm to work together through farm events, food and music gatherings, workshops, markets, and community celebrations.

Our Values
Family-Centered Work
We are building a business that allows our children to grow up connected to land, food, music, and community.
Food Security
We want Borinken Farm to contribute to local food access, fresh produce, cultural foods, and community-based food education.
Cultural Roots
Borinken Farm is inspired by Borikén, the Indigenous Taíno name for Puerto Rico. Our food and farming vision is connected to Puerto Rican, Caribbean, and Latin American food traditions.
Responsible Land Use
We want to care for the land through small-scale, thoughtful production, composting, soil building, garlic cultivation, herbs, vegetables, and gradual infrastructure development.
Community Connection
Through both food and music, we want to create spaces where people gather, celebrate, learn, eat, and connect.
